FIJ has launched a new project amid the increasing concern over the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and concurrent “infodemic”.
This project aims to debunk misinformation and disinformation related to Japan, and to assist international fact-checkers looking to access essential Japan-related information. We understand that information related to Japan is often hard to access, so we hope to help them there.
We have done some collaboration cases with Taiwan’s organizations in the last month.
Please feel free to submit any suspect information or rumor widespread in your country or region which is Japan-related at Suggest a fact-check Form in English. We will assist you in verifying them utilizing our resources in Japan and will share the results with you.
